SALE DATES 2024 - 18th Aug, 20th Oct, 17th Nov and 15th Dec. Our monthly table top sales run on the third Sunday of every month, the sale opens for the sellers at 1400 hours and to the buyers at 1430. Tables are £10 each and you can use both the top and underneath floor space, NO sellers commission will be charged for the Birds or Hatching Eggs sold during the event, what you sell them for is what you keep. Buyers and sellers are required to become a member at the yearly rate of £3 a person, this helps cover the hall and admin fees, and entry is £2 a person but under 5s FREE! There is NO BUYERS COMMISSION!! Selling will Start at 1500 prompt, and there's no selling or reserving birds before this time to make it fair to everyone. ​THIS IS NOT AN AUCTION! So you can charge what you like, but its worth bearing in mind that as with most situations, the nicer and cleaner the birds are displayed, the higher the price you can command. ​Birds should all be brought along in boxes with wire fronts or tops so they are clearly visible and it goes without saying only fit and healthy birds should be in attendance, ministry vets and DEFRA will be around at some of the events.  Staff have the right to refuse any entries on the day that don't meet our exacting standards. In the interest of precaution against Brid Flu and other poultry diseases, the site will be misted both before and after the sale with a substance that similar to that used to disinfect against COVID to ensure a safe space for future bird sales and to help safe guard your flock. Lots of lovely refreshment on site. There is lots of on site and street parking, but it could be limited on busy days. Best to arrive early to get the best spots.
